The second meeting of
members of the Steering and Organizing Committee of the Arab-Euro
Conference on Higher Education was held at the headquarters of the
European Universities Association (EUA)on 10 February 2014.
Professor Sultan Abu Orabi, Secretary General of the Association of
Arab Universities (AArU), Ms. Lesley Wilson, Secretary General, EUA,
Professor Issa Batarseh, President of Princess Sumaya University for
Technology, Professor Ramon Torrent, Barcelona University, Professor
Abdallah Al-Zoubi, Princess Sumaya University for Technology and Ms.
Elizabeth Coluccihave all participated in the meeting which was
focused on final preparations of the Second Arab-Euro Conference on
Higher Education.

The first meeting of members of the Steering
and Organizing Committee of the Arab-Euro Conference on Higher
Education was hosted by Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in
the period 12-13 September 2013. Professor Sultan
Abu Orabi, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities
(AArU), Ms. Lesley Wilson, Secretary General of the European
Universities Association (EUA), Professor Issa Batarseh, President
of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Professor Ramon
Torrent, Barcelona University, Professor Abdallah Al-Zoubi, Princess
Sumaya University for Technology and other members of AECHE
Secretariat have all participated in the meeting which was focused
on preparing the programme of the Second Arab-Euro Conference on
Higher Education.
